Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were married on 9th April 2005. The Falkland Islands celebrated the event with two stamps and minisheet. The stamps featured the couple at St Lawrence's Church and at Windsor Castle, with the mini-sheet of the Great Park Windsor.

Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips were marriedon 14 November 1973. All three areas produced stamps and covers as part of the omnibus series, with portraits of the couple. Thr wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer were married on 22 July 1981. Stamps and covers were issued for the Falkland Islands and the Dependencies featuring portraits and flower bouquets. Prince Andrew's wedding to Sarah Ferguson on 23 July 1986 saw similar stamps from the Falklands and South Georgia. The official portraits included Prince Andrew in naval uniform and beard opening Fox Bay Wool Mill, and with Lynx helicopter on HMS Brazen.

HRH The Princess Royal accompanied by her husband Rear Admiral Timothy Laurence visited the Falklands on the 12 January 2007. The visit to Antarctica involved a flight in the British Antarctic Survey Dash 7 from Stanley Airport to Rothera, where she stayed overnight before boarding HMS Endurance for visits to several bases including Port Lockroy. Princess Anne is the Patron of the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust. The Royal couple returned in March 2009 on a stopover before visiting South Georgia. All three covers were designed by local artist Sonia Felton and proceeds from their sale helped to fund the attendance at the Centenary World Scout Jamboree by 3 Falkland Island Scouts.

HRH The Duke of Kent visited the Islands in October 1990. No stamps were issued but a commemorative cachet was applied to internal mail. HRH Princess Anne visited the Falklands in February 1996. The four stamps show portraits and local places visited ; Government House, San Carlos Cemetary, Christ Church Cathedral, and Goose Green. HRH Princess Alexandria viited the Islands in February 2000 in her capacity of Patron of the Falkland Island Trust and Shackleton Scholarship Fund. In November 2002 HRH The Duke of York visited as part of the South Atlantic Medal Association Pilgrimage for the 20th Anniversary of the Falklands War. Two stamps were released. One featuring Prince Andrew as a Naval helicopter pilot, and one visiting San Carlos Cemetary.

The Falkland Islands commemorative first day cover for the RAF Search and Rescue 70th anniversary features the four yellow helicopter stamps with a photograph of one helicopter flying near Bluff Cove farm. The addition of the Royal Wedding stamp with porttraits of HRH Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton dated cancelled with the First Day of Issue make this cover a very collectible item. Limited Edition as only 70 covers were cancelled.

The Falkland Islands and South Georgia issued stamps and covers with a common design using portraits of the Queen with local landscapes as background. The Falklands landscapes are from paintings by Algernon Asprey; Stanley through the Narrows, HillCove towards Saunders Island and San Carlos Water. South Georgia scenes are Mountain range on South Georgia, Zavodovski Island, and Gulbrandsen Lake.

Queen Elizabeth's birthday of 21 April is celebrated with a parade and Government House reception. Her 60th birthday saw the issuing of stamps from the Falklands and South Georgia featuring portraits through the years and the cover design of a bouquet of flowers with one flower from all the Commonwealth countries and overseas territories. The 65th Birthday of the Queen and the 70th Birthday of Prince Philip were commemorated by a pair of stamps and cover from South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. For her 70th Birthday, the Falkland Islands issued stamps and mini-sheet with current portraits and local scenes ; Steeple Jason, the local trader ship Tamar, New Island and the Community School. The Falkland Islands 80th birthday stamp issue and mini-sheet completes this birthday pack.

The 25th anniversary of the marriage between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1947 was commemorated with an omnibus issue of stamps and covers throughout the Commonwealth. Each country issued two stamps combining the official portrait with local scenes. The Falkland Island design is Romney Marsh sheep and Sea Lions, the South Georgia design is Elephant Seals and King Penguins and the BAT design is Fur Seals and Emperor Penguins. The 25th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II on the 6 February 1952 was celebrated with an omnibus issue that featured local events with scenes from the coronation. The Falkland Islands chose the visit of Prince Philip to the Islands in 1957, and South Georgia Prince Philip visiting Shackleton's grave, with BAT featuring Prince Philip with beard in the Antarctic.

The coronation took place on 2 June 1953. All comonwealth countries issued a set of three stamps and sheetlet of six, with heraldic designs as a common theme on the stamps and covers. The Falkland Islands used the Red Dragon of Wales and the Hornless Ram, South Georgia used the Panther of Henry VI and Fur Seal, while BAT used the Black Bull of Clarence and Emperor Penguin.

The Falkland Islands celebrated the 80th birthday of the Queen Mother with a single stamp and cover. The Life and Times issue from the Falklands and South Georgia featured portraits of the Queen Mother with other members of the Royal Family. Her 90th Birthday saw stamps from the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the British Antarctic Territory. All areas used photographs from the long life of the Queen Mother. The Queen Mother's Centenary stamps from the Falklands used pictures from royal events.
