Taylorcraft Auster Mk5, Boeing 747, De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, Lockheed C-130Hercules, De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver, Airbus A320, Lockheed L1011 Tristar, Avro Vulcan B2, Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander, Panavia Tornado F3, De Havilland Canada DHC-7-110 Dash 7, BAE Sea Harrier. A Sheetlet was issued to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Royal Air Force, and the pack comes complete with the Islander Calendar Card.

All three areas issued stamps to celebrate 100 years of Naval Aviation. British Antarctic Territory miniature sheetlet of the "Mayfly", plus stamps featuring the Fairy Seafox, Westland Lynx, Supermarine Walrus, Westland Wasp. South Georgia featured the Supermarine Walrus, Westland Wasp, Westland Whirlwind, Westland Merlin. The Falkland Islands chose the Westland/Aerospatiale Gazelle AH1, Westland Lynx, Westland Wessex HU5, and Westland Sea King HAS5. The sheetlet features the BAe Sea Harrier FRS1 taking off from the deck of HMS Hermes.

The cover design suggests an airfield of the First World War, with the stamps suggestive of later conflicts. Avro Vulcan, Lockheed Hercules, Boeing Vertol Chinook, Lockheed Tristar, Hawker Siddeley Andover, Westland Wessex, Panavia Tornado F3, McDonnell Douglas Phantom. The Hercules stamp was used on the Refueling Changeover from C1K Hercules tankers to VC10 K2 Tankers.

The first air journey was made on 21st November 1783 in a hot air balloon built by the Montgolfier brothers. The British Antarctic Territory cover features specialy adapted planes that have operated in the Antarctic. The De Havilland Twin Otter, De Havilland Single Otter, Consolidated Canso, and Lockheed Vega. The Falkland Island Dependencies stamps feature the Westland Whirlwind, Westland Wasp, Saunders-Roe Walrus, and Auster. The Falkland Island planes are the Britten-Norman Islander, DHC-2 Beaver, Noorduyn Norseman, and Auster. The Auster is also depicted on the Calendar Card.
