QUEEN ELIZABETH 2
A souvenir sheetlet was issued to commemorate the visit of the ship as part of the 1993 world cruise.
The QE 2 was used as a troop ship in 1982, though did not enter Falkland waters as it was considered too big an asset to put at risk.
The Farewell QE 2 stamps depict the Launch of the ship, Passing the Falklands for the last time, The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, and the Elegance of the Vessel.
The Calendar Card is features the sheetlet design.
